Google Translate AGAIN
дмитрий николаевич wrote:First comment: I'm not portuguese. Second comment: It's not google translate, I find the lyrics on the youtube. So be CALM!!!!!. If someone asks for the lyrics of any song and I find it (even if I don't know any word of the native language) I post it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hS8pKariqI in this link I find the subs of the song. So AGAIN be calm and respectful I try to do my best.
You have to include the source you've copied the lyrics from. Please do it in every translation
Just copy the original lyrics of the song and paste them in GT and you'll see the same version as you've posted here. Well, a slightly modified one, though (a couple of prepositions omitted).
@Vlædīmīrī you're right but maybe he did copy the lyrics from YT but maybe that user had used GT . In any case it should be deleted. Maybe someone native or fluent in Portuguese could help us
Yet again, I'm not trying to point out that I'm the most intelligent person on the earth. As an editor (and as any ordinary user of this site) I try to monitor anything that seems to have been sumbitted with the help of GT in order to prevent lyricstranslate.com from being invaded with translations of poor quality. So, please, next time you're going to post a translation in a language you don't speak, ask a native to verify it so as to avoid any sort of situation that might bother you (you can do it by pushing the botton "proofreading" ). Have a nice day!
Well, it would be it bit more important in the circumstances to have a look at the rules of the site. There are clear rules in what goes and what doesn't.
And in this place, maintaining credibility and correctness is most important which is why we request only native speakers to translate or proofread.
This, least I find, is not demeaning to anybody in any manner. It is just a matter of linguistic integrity of the translation we are bothered about, and we want better translations, that's all.
Hello!
No, I don't care about the stanzas' order at all:) The thing is that this is a GT translation, no matter how "lucky" it is to fit in the general idea of the song:)
Hi. My original comment asked if you knew Portuguese - you hadn't selected that language anywhere in your lists, so its supicious. I didn't even check if this was copied from somewhere else, nor did I check this for mistakes. The standard procedure of asking you if you know the language was taken. As a native PT speaker, I can say that the translation has its share of innacuracies, but I honestly can't remember how it was before editing. Thing is, user seems to have deleted his account in the meantime.
