When I Feel Lonely

When I feel lonely,
The way you left me,
Only more of a tramp
At a garden bench,
It is when I am sorry
Of myself and by contrast
I hate the world
That split us like that.

When I feel lonely
My mouth knows its fortune
I'm sorry of those who cry
Their sad sorrow
Crawling in the dust
My tired heart
Reminds an old daughter-in-law
Dying of water thirst.

So that they don't mock of,
I look not to scream
To those who ask, I lie
I don't want them to have pitty
In a mad selfishness
I even desire
That you feel what I do
When I feel lonely

Hello, I believe that the verse:
"Lembra uma velha nora"
should be translated as :
"Reminds of an old waterwheel" (or mill-wheel)
'cause in this case "nora" shouldn't be translated as "daughter-in-law"....
(it's equivalent to the spanish and italian word "noria" which means waterwheel)
Regards
Francesco
