The sun rises

Испански

Sale el sol

Estas semanas sin verte
Me parecieron años
Tanto te quise besar
Que me duelen los labios

Mira que el miedo nos hizo
Cometer estupideces
Nos dejo sordos y ciegos
Tantas veces

Y un día después de la tormenta
Cuando menos piensas sale el sol
De tanto sumar
Pierdes la cuenta
Porque uno y uno
No siempre son dos
Cuando menos piensas
Sale el sol

Te llore hasta el extremo
De lo que era posible
Cuando creía que era
Invencible
No hay mal que dure cien años
Ni cuerpo que lo aguante
Y lo mejor siempre espera
Adelante

The sun rises

These past weeks I couldn't see you
Seemed like years to me
I wanted to kiss you so much
That my lips hurt

Fear made us
Do stupid things
It made us deaf and blind
So many times

And a day after the storm
When you least expect it, the sun rises
From adding so much [1]
You lose count of things
Because one plus one
Not always equals two
When you least expect it
The sun rises

I cried for you to the limit
Of what was possible
When I believed myself to be
Invincible
Nothing bad lasts forever
There's no hardship you cannot endure [2]
And the best things always lie
Ahead

And a day after the storm
When you least expect it, the sun rises
From adding so much
You lose count of things
Because one plus one
Not always equals two
When you least expect it
The sun rises

When you least expect it
The sun rises

And a day after the storm
When you least expect it, the sun rises
From adding so much
You lose count of things
Because one plus one
Not always equals two

And a day after
And a day after
The sun rises

And a day after the storm
When you least expect it, the sun rises
From adding so much
You lose count of things
Because one plus one not always equals two

When you least expect it, the sun rises

[1] Adding as in summing numbers

[2] "No hay mal que dure cien años ni cuerpo que lo aguante" is a saying that literally would mean something like "There's no hardship that lasts a century, nor a body that would be able to endure it" meaning that nothing bad lasts forever. "This, too, shall pass" seems like a good equivalent to me but if anyone knows of a better equivalent, please let me know and I will change it.

I just got a suggestion from Michelangel and now the phrase will be translated as Nothing bad lasts forever, there's no hardship you cannot endure. Smile
