As long as you're there

Because you're the life
Because you're the desire
The strength in my arms
The sun before me

Because you're a shore
And the day that rises
The wind in my hair
And the light in my eyes

Tomorrow everything can disappear
Tomorrow you'll make everything reborn again

As long as you're there
The world will spin
Like hours do
And carousels of my heart

As long as you're there
The world will spin

You're drawing the happiness
of my colourful life

Because you're the space
And the time that passes by
Like the bird that lands
Like the smell of roses

Because you're somebody different
You're the good, the best
The beauty of silence
Like a white page

Tomorrow everything can disappear
Tomorrow you'll make everything reborn again

As long as you're there
The world will spin
Like hours do
And carousels of my heart

As long as you're there
The world will spin
You're drawing the happiness
of my colourful life

As long as you're there (oh, oh, ooooh...)

If the night turned off the sky
If the rain drowned the essential
If our gardens of the past
Were nothing more but a land of dust

As long as you're there
The world will spin

As long as you're there
As long as you're there
As long as you're there
As long as you're there
As long as you're there

Hello! Here are some suggestions, if I may :)

2nd stanza
I'm quite sure that here "grève" means "shore".

4th stanza:
It's not about coming back (=retourner), it's about spinning (=tourner). Le monde (= la Terre) tourne, les heures tournent, les manèges tournent.
It's about time passing by and it also means that as long as he's there, things will be alright and she'll be happy.

"tu es l'ailleurs" doesn't meant he's somewhere else, it's more like he's different from the people she knows, as if he were some foreign place she'd like to attend.
