Andymori - Crazy Claimer/Clamour (クレイジークレーマー) (Englisch Übersetzung)

Englisch Übersetzung

Crazy Claimer/Clamour

How’s the sunflower field doing? On my side it’s blossoming everyday
For a reason I don’t know i don’t know I don’t know I don’t know the things I don’t know
Stop the roller coaster
I don’t really like going that fast, please forgive me

A crazy clamour, please don’t give me that look
I’m going to sing that you’re the best in the world and that you’re right, in front of everyone
“A coward is incompetent and useless,” that which everyone says unanimously can be easily tossed aside,
But really, it’s the last days of a disposable hand warmer*
When you label it as a disease too, when you label it as a disease too
I guess not being bullied makes it at least a bit easier

A crazy clamour, even though there’s no use in saying “it’s you”
when you ask what beauty is
Let’s go see the sunflowers together

A Crazy Clamour, please don’t give me that look
I’m going to sing that you’re the best in the world and you’re right, in front of everyone

So, just an introduction, this song was probably written for a friend of Souhei Oyamada (the songwriter), who overdosed on drugs and passed away. The friend was extremely depressed and in a very bad mental state, and this song is probably dedicated to them, so the “you” in this refers to this friend.

The official translation of “ クレーマー “ is “claimer” in English but I’m inclined to think it stands for “Clamour” instead, as in a confused shout, or a person who shouts confusedly a lot. ( クレーマー means a person who always complains in Japanese, but I’m not sure which foreign word it’s derived from, it’s definitely a derived foreign word though.)

The song ends with a spoken sentence:

もう世の中に対して言いたいことなんて何ひとつありません
(I’ve not got even one thing I want to say to the world anymore)
which I’m taking to be what the songwriter thinks his friend who lost their will to live said/thought, hopelessly and helplessly, before deciding to overdose/end their own life.
