It does sound like some "manele" songs, but the thing is that musical genre uses Balkanic (Gypsy, Romanian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Greek) Turkish, Arabic, Hebraic (& many more) motifs, so theree's a good chance of the song you mentioned to be copied (worst case scenario) or covered (best case scenario).
