Hello everyone,

The song is http://lyricstranslate.com/en/%CE%B7-%CE%BC%CF%85%CF%81%CF%83%CE%AF%CE%B...

Normally I would have asked the user who made the translation this questions, but the user deleted her account.
I will write the lyrics as I understand them and I'll put the question between brackets:

Mirsini is wearing white clothes

Mirsini is wearing whites clothes
And the neighborhood fills (with)
Little roses and stars
And spring's twigs (This line is missing from the translation. I hope "twigs" is the right word cause I've been searching for it a lot!)
Mirsini is wearing white clothes
White lily on the window sill
And the neighborhood gets drunk

I wish I had a little boat (Why is λέει translating like this? Isn't it a conjugated form of λέω?)
With a cross-shaped sail
And with you, Mirsinaki (or dear/little Mirsini. I guess "dear" is the better choice. In the existing translation this line was merged with the next one, which I wouldn't say it's incorrect, but doesn't the catch the "sweetness" of this song)
To sail one night
On the sea's open paths
My black beautiful eyes
In front of whom I stay awake (This one gave me a headache! I don't even know if I got it right. Mirsini's black eyes keep him awake all night long? Or "μαύρα όμορφά μου μάτια" is a way to address her?)

But I don't have the little boat
To steal you (maybe take away is a better translation) for a night (or on one night. Which one is correct?)
I only have a little heart
Bitter and heavy
And I put her on the window sill
Maybe you can see that she's suffering
(I don't really know if the correct line is "και μου γιάνεις την καρδιά" or "και μου κάνεις την καρδιά".
Does "και μου κάνεις την καρδιά" makes any sense in Greek? )
And you heal my heart

Thank you in advance. :)

Meister

Hello lina! Well, actually και μου γιάνεις την καρδιά or και μου κάνεις την καρδιά is exactly the same thing. The first phrase (και μου γιάνεις την καρδιά) is just a greek idiom on the verb, they say it in some other places in Greece. So no worries (:
