El amor es un espectáculo
- 1. el inglés no es muy claro, también podría traducirse con irme/ve
1. | Winter On The Weekend |
2. | This Love |
3. | Maybe |
Sí, parece que así tiene más sentido...
Agreed on both counts, translation updated :) thanks for your comment!
Thanks Vimto for following my suggestions. It sounds good.
There is something else I didn't point out before:
In third stanza, I think "le" and "a ella" is unnecessary. Try "por qué LA llamaste", and see what you think.
And instead of "amante" I would say "querido" (addressing directly).
yep I accept both your suggestions (I did think llamar took a direct object...)
Thanks again for your help :)
¡Perfecto!
How about "Ir....quiero irme"?
hmm yeah me gusta :D nice and vague...open to interpretation. Changed!
Thanks for your comment ^^
You are perfectly welcome.
Yes, it takes a direct object: "... called --> her = direct object = LA"
Th thing is that, in Spanish, it carries what is called 'a' personal (a ella), and, sometimes, it can be confusing.
You're welcome, Nisah.
That's what was suggested, Freda, and it has been changed. Thank you.
Sorry, I didn't read well. You should say "irme" throughout, as I wrote above.

Hola Vimto! Nice translation.
It appears to be easy and yet, it has its things.
1. The stanza "te llevaré..." it should be in subjunctive, "donde te PUEDA abrazar" (wharever that place may be).
2. The refrain "Go, love is a show" is not very clear to me; at least, in Spanish, it seems to be incomplete. I don't think the starting "Go" is a command, but an introduction to what is coming next. "Quiero ir", ¿a dónde?
What do you think of this:
"Irme, el amor es un espectáculo.
Quiero irme.
Irme, no lo sabía.
Quiero irme".
¿Tiene sentido?
