Kasaba
Kasaba sa neba gledala,
na zemlju se spustila.
Prizrenka mlada plakala,
i bistru reku pitala:
Bistrice, reko izvorska,
gde mi je kuća Ljeviška?
Kaljaja sa brda kanula,
i mladu momu umila,
i njojzi zborila.
Devojče mlado, andjelče,
evo ti puta tvojega,
bistra te reka vodila,
u dvore tvoje odvela.

Little town
Little town looked to the sky
(little town) bent on the ground
The young girl from Prizren was crying
and asked the clearwater river:
Bistrica*, river's spring,
Where is my home Ljeviška*?
Prizren's fortress in the hills cried
and washed my young girl
and told her
Young girl, little angel
Here it is your road,
clearwater river guided you,
(clearwater river) took (you) to your palace
