Ad vocem (Λατινικά) — To voice. To (this) vote. An expression used as a request to speak out of order in a discussion, in order to refer directly to the words just spoken by the debater or for rectification, correction. You might hear, "Ad vocem, a matter of protocol". Meaning someone is bringing up the rules, or regulations interrupting or not awaiting their turn to speak. Figuratively it implies 'the voice', identifying a person who wishes to speak.
