 I' d like to make some proposals to your translation of Juliane Werding's song above which is not easy to understand because it is poetic: "Morgengrau, noch zögernd rinnt das Licht Trifft Tau, in dem es bricht Als Tränen-Diamant´"
>The morning is dawning, the light hesitates to appear (to leak) and it (the light) scintillates (refracts) in the dew (not Tau) as diamond of tears. "Vor Staunen stumm erkenn ich dein Geschenk"
> means she remains voiceless because of his gift and realizes what her was given. Up to you, to formulate it as you want, but in my opinion is " I am amazed at your gift" a little abridged.
"Durch Schienen anderer Welten streift dein Blick": >... streift dein Blick: His gaze is not fix, is moving, is wandering (glance?) and returns to me
> "vertrauensvoll" means full of trust in somebody else, trusty; the gaze shows there is trust; reliable is rather the contrary: somebody has trust in me, I am reliable
