مثل توقيت ابو ناجي (Arabic) — This idiom literally means; "Exact on time like Abu- Naji"

An idiom that Iraqi Arabs used to say to a person that is punctual and has a great respect for time. It goes back to the time before WW(II) when the Iraqi people got exposed to the British culture. For some reason, the name "Abu-Naji" was what Iraqis called the British people. It was also known that a lot of English people have a great respect for time;

In other words; This idiom means: "Exact on time like the British"

The idiom "مثل توقيت ابو ناجي" became a way to express admiration to the person who says he's coming this given hour, and arrives with no delay!
