Anson Hu - 訣別詩(Juébiéshī) (English translation)

English translation

Farewell Poem

The sword leaves the scabbard with a murderous swing
In a windy moonless battlefield
Millions of soldiers charge alone
Taking responsibilities of being good soldiers
Men and women relationships are debts from past life
Your smile still lives, how can it be forgotten?
Tears from beautiful women, makes men heartbroken
This can take a man's life, being burned by rouge

A farewell poem in two three lines
Written on the road to March's spring rain
Only if I can open an umbrella and walk by your side
A farewell poem in two three lines
Who will sing for me while walking to my grave
If I can die by your side
This trip to the human world was not in vain
