If you ever come upon me (Ako me ikada sretnes)

If you ever come upon me

Versions: #1#2#3#4

If you ever come upon me, in this haunted town*
Stay calmly on the same side of a sidewalk
Dont put your hands over your face, you got nothing to hide from me
Heads up! For love is our secret code

Dont ask if it`s fair, for darkness to cover us
And that we are not together, shed a tear, give me a sign...

...that it didn`t end yet, that it will never end!**
Springs can pass, and I can die
But you didn`t stop, and you never will***
Summers, Winters, and Springs, for you I will live,
and sing.

Love is blind and crazy, knows no God or judge
But it sings with beauty, and clothes a soul beautifuly
If you ever come upon me, dont put your hands over your face
Put a smile, from that old postcard

Dont ask if it`s fair, for darkness to cover us
And that we are not together, shed a tear, give me a sign...

...that it didn`t end yet, that it will never end!
Springs can pass, and I can die
But you didn`t stop, and you never will
Summers, Winters, and Springs, for you I will live,
and sing.

* Song was made in `93 when Sarajevo (town in the lyrics) was under the heavy siege.
** Their love
*** The hardest part to translate (the reason many translations are not accurate), it basically means that "She never stopped loving him, and she never will stop to love him".

I have tried my best to translate this beautiful song to all of you, and try to give you some hints of what truly this song is about. Some parts are really hard to translate so I have given some explanation about its meanings, so you could understand the point of those lyrics.

Just a little mistake, on both of these lines:

"Springs can pass, and I can die" (wrong)

It should be:

"Centuries can pass and I can die"

Just noticed this, so I apologize.
