Almeria

Half moor and half christian
you have the crossed blood
of a distant land
that's reflected on the sea.
The Alcazaba1, sentinel,
always watches over your beauty
and the Torre de la Vela2
and the Torre de la Vela.

I'm singing you in the moonlight
the sky kisses your image
until it sees your awakening
and flowers of your park
and flowers of your park
they put for you on the altar

Ah Almeria, Almeria noble land
source of inspiration
spell of beauty
of poetry and singing
your beauty has history
and there is in you such majesty
that you can say out loud
I'm a land of bullfightmanship

Almeria, ah my Almeria!

Nice start!
Questions:
1. First verse - Don't you think you could say, "half moor and half christian"?
2. In the second stanza, could you say "your awakening"?

I didn't edit anything. I just deleted an apostrophe that was not necessary in English, (crossed blood ').
