Deichkind - Befehl von ganz unten (English translation)

English translation

Command from down below

A pinch of myth
a drop hysteria
never saying thank you
its ruling strict hierarchy

We command you to make party
to get high because of us
and if you have to pee the just let it go

Bring us a sacrifice
from the foyer
the feets from the toilet attendant would be ok for us
the command is coming from down below
the magic of the pets affects
we don't tolerate any manners cause it confuses freethinkers

Did I say you do that? I said so do it! (4x)

We know you trust us
Power without doubt
botty without break now we rotate like a roundabout
hoses and rampage confetti storm and plastic
that don't happens accidentally
we do it in purpose
Thank you for the clicks
for that we can't buy anything
as honest compensation you have to drink the beat
The poltergeist Santana
rattles with his chains
and inhales uninhibited Deichkind-Cigarettes

Did I say you do that?
I said so do it! (4x)

We see us in Pandora
We open you the door
You aren't at home 'til Sunday
We can't do anything about it
We write your certificate
the future will be pressed
the tunnel Vision of the Dynasty is giving you the rest
Smooth orgies
the school is burned
Low Kick, High Kick
Like Jean-Claude Van Damme
the command comed from down below
we educate you
God is sucking on the teats tank we do not take it from him

Did I say you do that?
I said so do it! (4x)

"the feets", "that don't happens", "we do it in purpose", "is giving you the rest" - that's even funnier than Google Translate. Teeth smile

And what the heck are "uninhibited cigarettes"? You mean he is "uninhibitedly inhaling" - adverb vs. adjective, right?

This is worse than Google Translate, if that is possible.

Lobolyrix    Mon, 29/01/2018 - 15:35

At least now it should be time for mods to take care of Mr. Achampnator.

Natur Provence    Mon, 29/01/2018 - 15:39

Achampnator's translations of yesterday and today were really not the best, but in my opinion he is now a little bit mobbed.

Lobolyrix    Mon, 29/01/2018 - 15:46

It's not about the quality of his translations but about uncontrolled and offensive comments to other members.

Loot    Mon, 29/01/2018 - 15:51

I definitely won't take sides, because I can stand neither bullies nor rude people, but if LT should crack down on offensive comments to other members, it ought also reprimand those who find amusement in picking on other members' sub par translations instead of offering constructive criticism.

Lobolyrix    Mon, 29/01/2018 - 16:17

In principle, you are right, and maybe the discussions have been escalated. But, as far as I have seen, Magicmulder, as well as others, has added objectively founded constructive critical comments.

Yeah, objectively founded, but not expressed in a too polite manner.

Loot    Mon, 29/01/2018 - 16:43

On this page I've found nothing of what you describe (that is, added before you wrote that). Like Natur Provence said, it was objectively founded, but pointing out errors without describing what's wrong with them is hardly constructive. And doing it in a mocking manner surely doesn't help.

But that being said, it still doesn't justify any offensive replies.

Natur Provence    Mon, 29/01/2018 - 15:49

I know, but he had some reason to be angry because the critics to his translations were not very polite.

magicmulder    Mon, 29/01/2018 - 16:24

I tried to remain polite at first (as I give everyone the benefit of the doubt) but when he started lashing out at constructive criticism (the likes of "shut up, we're not in school here"), I thought he needed to be brought back down to earth. It's one thing to be arrogant when you're a genius, but being arrogant *and* unable to muster a decent translation is borderline trolling and unacceptable in my book.
What you perceive as "mobbing" was simply the result of him managing to p*ss off several people within a short time frame due to his rude and childish behaviour.

RadixIce    Mon, 29/01/2018 - 16:25

We all receive critism, I myself received too rude critisms in the past. But it doesn't give anyone the right to use bad language.

I redetermine that many members here are sniffys (sic).
I speak generally.
Anyone who isn't open to (well- meaning) criticism in his own translations probably has not read the website rules.
This is my opinion.
