[@WeaknessOfHeart] Your submission of the lyrics have been moved here and removed as a translation, language has been changed from "Transliteration" to "Georgian". Is the transliteration Tannhäuser submitted in any way correct? And if I might ask, what is the transliteration of the song? (Is the one added on this page correct?). Thank you.
EDIT: Who is the singer of the song? We can't leave it as "Chveneburebi Or Trio Mandili"

Hi. The song is a folk-song. So It doesn't have one particular singer. Two versions of it -sung by "Trio Mandili" and group "Chveneburebi" are more popular than others. You could add them both as singers of this song but in a separated way, because both of it is written together and its a mistake. And about the transliteration, I'd say some words are very near and understandable, but not the whole transliteration is correct. It's a phonetic Western transliteration so it might be hard for everyone to understand but the translator did a great job in my opinion. So It should remain as it is. Maybe not for every language system it is understandable but still, some might sing along :) Thanks!

The original request (made by Carlo Benson) was for a western, phonetic transliteration and prior to this no version of the lyrics (in any language) appeared on the site. I completed the transliteration request, which took *ages* and during the process fell in love with the song. As a result I wanted to know what the lyrics meant.
Rules didn't allow for transliteration > English (you can't post transliteration as the base), so I asked the community if someone could re-write my transliterated script into correct Georgian, which has been most beautifully completed - thank you.
All we need now is for someone to complete the translation of the Georgian to English.... bit of a journey, but all good fun!
(I'm now getting alerts for the Trio Mandili on my phone every time they release a new tune... LOL. Excellent :)
