Hi everybody! I am trying to study Bulgarian language, and have been seriously considering moving to Varna as soon as I am able, and I would love to make new friends in Bulgaria. :) Is there anyone that would like to say hi?
Friends In Bulgaria
Hi,
Unfortunately I don't live in Bulgaria since 2014, but I hope you'll like it. What makes you move to Varna?
Hello! After doing research and study, and meeting some friends there, I gathered that Bulgaria would be a nice place to live; and I have heard many great things about Varna, and I recently joined a group called "Friends Of Bulgaria" and a bunch of people there say it's a wonderful place to live, and one of my dearest friends lives there, so I'd like to be close.
Nice! Good luck. I hope there is someone among the translators who lives there.
Where is this group? In Facebook? What are you doing for living? Sorry for asking you so many questions. And one more - where in USA are you from?
Yes, it is on Facebook! I am trying to keep to my Bulgarian studies, but due to personal trouble it is hard to keep track and stick to a schedule, you know? But I'm going to try to do my best.
Right now I don't work, I am too sick to work. But I have many dreams and goals. My main career goal right now is to start a Lolita fashion label. I also do video editing and writing, among other things. I live in New Jersey.
Well, I have friends who lived for 15 years in several states and finally they decided to go back to Bulgaria and especially Varna. If and when you are ready to take off to Varna I can give their coordinates so you can call them or meet them. Oh, they are family I forgot to mention.
Oh, well that sounds lovely! If you would like, I can send you my facebook privately, and you can tell them about me and give it to them so they can decide if they would like to make friends with me or not.
Wish you all the best with that! :) I'm not living in Bulgaria for years either, and I'm not from Varna, but I'd say it's a lovely city - I wanted to go and live/study there before I decided to move abroad. I know just a bunch of people, none of which lives there anymore, but try language exchange websites or forums, you may meet more Bulgarians that currently live there than in here.
Hmm, the holidays were nice, but are over, so now I'm back to reality (work) as everyone else :D how about you? When do you plan to move, or you haven't decided on that yet?
That's a shame, reality lol It was quiet, but nice. I'm not sure when I'll be able to move, I have some guidelines I've set for myself before I go so I am prepared; I tell my friends, I take this very seriously. I'll have money saved up first, a few homes to look at, etc. etc. so it may be a while.
