Hello, all! I have two questions:

1. Almost all of my contributions are my own adaptations. But when I click on "details" of my own overall contribution, I see almost half of it is listed as "copied from another site". The site in question happens to be my own, and it has my original work. Could these details be corrected/updated?

2. When I started contributing, I configured something I wanted displayed in every publication (I don't remember what, maybe it's called "signature", or "footnote", but I cannot find it or edit it because I don't remember how) where it says "this is my own work...", etc. The problem is, when (very rarely) I upload other people's work, the signature is there, but when I edit the post, it is not part of what can be edited. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks in advance!

1. That is because you wrote links to your own website into the source fields. You can/should leave the source fields empty if the translations are your own work (albeit it might nevertheless be good if you mention the website in the comment field lest someone thinks you had stolen the translation from there).

2. To change your translation signature go to your profile and click on "Edit". There you'll find a field to change it. I think one can only have one signature for all translations, though.

Thank you, Sciera, for your prompt reply! Follow-up doubts (respectively):

1. If I empty the fields of songs already posted, will anything change as to crediting my contributions or should I not bother?
2. If I submit other people's lyrics very rarely, how can I prevent the signature from posting? Removing it and putting it back every time seems like a lot of work...

1. I'm not sure, haven't done it myself and the feature is fairly new. But you could try with a couple translations to see whether it causes changes.
2. Removing it would remove it from all your translations, so that wouldn't work anyway. That's a valid issue, I'll suggest to the admins that they add an option to not display it under certain translations.

Thank you, Sciera. I amended my signature so it would read "unless I post the author's name, the work is my own"; that way it can apply to everything ;o)

You're welcome.
The admins now replied that they might add the option I suggested, but for now they recommend simply using the translator's comment field instead.

Regarding the statistics's dependence on the source fields, I'm told they are recalculated when the source fields are edited.
