Mickey 3D - Je m'appelle Joseph (English translation)

English translation

My name is Joseph

I tell myself that it’s long
I tell myself that it’s short
I tell myself that it’s not the first time
I feel the silence surrounding me
and my pulse that does not weaken
“I come as a friend” says the silence,
“do not look any further
than this new day which is calling you
and inviting you into its garden filled
with air and light”
A new morning surrounds me,
and me, in my cold shoes…
We rush on as best we can
Each one in our own patch

My name is Joseph, my father is dead
I live alone with my mother in Augusta Falls
I live in Georgia… Okefenokee 1
Here everything is quiet, in the evening
There isn’t a single sound

Don’t touch me
Why is the sky blue
and me, I’m already leaving
Crushed against me
I no longer hear my heart beating
I’m no longer here… I’m already leaving

Alexandra Webber, the girl of my dreams
The only one who awakens my heart
when the day breaks
All those girls found
without heads and without arms
Afterwards, they become
angels and I see them

I’m going to explain it all to you, it’s nothing to do with me
I just saw their feet in the grass far away
Can someone explain to me why she is there?
It can’t be a human who did that to her

Don’t touch me
Why is the sky blue
and me, I’m already leaving
Crushed against me
I no longer hear my heart beating
I’m no longer here… I’m already leaving

Yes.. that's true really. Think I simplified that line a bit but it's not accurate.

Good song though - nice driving bass line Regular smile

Lots of phaser/flanger - Like in A forest

Yes, the music is pretty good, but the lyrics are a bit too creepy for my taste.

Yes, I was singing along quite jauntily until I looked at the lyrics a bit more closely!
