Cartoon Songs - Caillou Intro (English translation)

Spanish

Caillou Intro

Sólo un niño soy,
Y yo creciendo voy,
Exploro todo,
Soy Caillou.
Hay mucho que hacer,
Mucho por conocer,
Ven te invito,
Soy Caillou.

Mi mundo gira,
Igual nunca es,
Con mis papás,
Mi camino hallaré.
Duro no es crecer,
Cuando me siento bien,
Yo me divierto,
Soy Caillou,
Caillou, Caillou
Soy Caillou,
¡Soy yo!

English translation

Caillou Intro (Latin American Spanish)

I am only a child,
And I am growing up,
I explore everything,
I'm Caillou
There's so much to do,
So much to be learned,
Come, I invite you,
I'm Caillou.

My world is turning,
There's nothing like it,
With my parents,
I will find my way.
Growing up isn't difficult,
When I feel good,
I'm having fun,
I'm Caillou
Caillou, Caillou,
I'm Caillou,
It's me!

Is the '(Spanish > English)' tag really needed in the translation title?

He's doing it in every Translation he did and i already added the French and German Version and told it to him but it seems that he ignores it

No, it's not completely necessary. I only used it because I thought "Caillou Intro (Spanish)", a translation of the Spanish title, might be somewhat misleading as a title for a translation into English of a Spanish dub of an English song...

I will change the titles if there is a policy against such titles.

When dealing with songs that are eventually published in many different languages, if a song is transcribed from, say, a Spanish recording, it's obvious that it is not a translation but an adaptation. Regular smile
