I Bring You Home
The waves rock us, but don't sleep
We'll be there by morning light
You and I
Search the horizon for the way home with me
And don't give up
We're strong, you and I
Do you see the far light?
We're already near
Believe me, soon we're there
I bring you home
Through a thousand miles of loneliness
I bring you home
No matter how long our path may be
Back home
Back where your loved ones are
I bring you home
I bring you home
Back home
Don't close your eyes, look at me
And think about this:
I am here only for you
If the night creeps towards you and woos you
Don't leave me
We're strong, you and I
Can you see the morning?
It's already near
Believe me, soon we're there
I bring you home
Through a thousand miles of loneliness
I bring you home
No matter how long our path may be
Back home
Back where your loved ones are
I bring you home
I bring you home
Back home
I bring you home
The waves rock us, but don't sleep
We'll be there by morning light
You and I
Do you feel the wind?
It flows gently through the hair
So don't give up
Soon we're there
I bring you home
Through a thousand miles of loneliness
I bring you home
No matter how long our path may be
Back home
Back where your loved ones are
I bring you home
I bring you home
Back home
I bring you home
I bring you home
I bring you home
Back home

Comments
I would translate: "Ist unser Weg auch noch so weit" = No matter how long our path may be (I'll bring you home)
"Ein weiter Weg" is a long path, it's about the distance which has to be overcome. The path is right here, it's just the goal that's far away. If it was about a path which starts far away, you would add "entfernt" (away) at the end. Example:
Wie weit ist der Weg? = How long is the path? (How many kilometres do I have to walk?)
Wie weit ist der Weg entfernt? How far is the path away? (Where does it start?)
"Noch so" is an idiom for "no matter how", an other example would be: Möge die Arbeit auch noch so hart sein, wir werden es dennoch schaffen. (No matter how hard the work may be, we will make it anyway.)
Russia is waging a disgraceful war on Ukraine. Stand With Ukraine!
