Hi,
the name of this poet is "Junger Spervogel", once again, he is no englishman,
it would be a lot easier to have the right name, in case somebody wants to find him on the web.

i put several possible names into the "original name" tab for that very purpose.

Yes i know, but when i had the name of the page, it was indicating Reinmar the old, and on the wiki for example, no such name,
i had to look further,
when i had immediatly the right, would have been a lot faster

so when you make a google search, does it give you the german name or the english one ? cause I often get the german name and hate it. my private database is all english, but since i learned some of the names by rote in german, i often confuse them (still today). always prefer english.

Yes i understand, the problem,
but in this case, anybody could write the same name in another language, and we wouldn't find it, i write Reinmar the old, and i don't find anything, because the sources are all in german.
if the name stays always the same, we can easily find it anywhere, in all documents.
for example for Margarete von Österreich,, i mean as her name was german, i think this is logical to write her name in german, to be synchronised with the original texts, and the history itself.
otherwise, as you mention, this becomes really fast confusing :)
