I just checked out the Klingon course which Duolingo published today, and learnt a bit about its pronunciation on YT alongside.

Not sure whether this transliteration here would be very helpful if someone were truly interested, though.
It has next to zero to do with the official pronunciation. I suppose it's based on how it's pronounced in the video, but it also differs a lot from that (e.g. "s" for something pronounced like the English "sh").
And I wouldn't really call it "phonetic" either - it uses English "orthography" to imply how it's supposed to be pronounced (e.g. "QI'"/"key" like the English word "key"). That word would in standard Klingon however be pronounced (in IPA) "qχɪʔ" or something like that ("key" would be "kʰiː" in IPA).

Same issue with the other such transliterations you added. Not saying they should be removed (although I think I did encounter requests for removal for that kind of transliterations in other languages), but maybe add a note?

The source seems to be a dead link, and not properly archived on Archive.org, so there is not more info about it to gain that way.

I think most people truly interested in Klingon would recognize this transliteration as faulty. :)

On that note, the transliteration itself appears to actually be a transcription of the song created by someone who did not have the original lyrics and had very little knowledge of the language, and it would most likely be of much use to anyone, interested or not.

Oh, according to a website on Klingon, the "faulty" pronunciation used by many actors is dialectal Klingon, and therefore a transcription of it would be helpful for someone wanting to study the dialects ;)
But well, that someone would probably make their own transcription using a different system.

For a beginner who is an English native and doesn't want to bother learning Klingon orthography it might be of help, at least if it was done better.

This way of using English orthography to help people pronounce things properly seems to be quite common actually, and while I personally find it more confusing than anything (but well, I'm not an English native after all), I encountered it in as different contexts as in a French textbook and on a website on rituals in order to tell readers how to pronounce magick spells properly, so there seem to be many people who see a value in it :D
