Tirioni, tioni, tioni...
Tirioni, tioni, tioná...
Cardai, cardicas, cardai
La lhana pa' los cobertores,
Que las pulgas'stan prenhadas:
Van a parir cardadores.
Tirioni, tioni, tioni...
Tirioni, tioni, tioná...
La moda d'l Torionini,
Quin l'havie d'aumentare?
Un burru d'un cardadore
Que la truxo pa'l lhugare.
Tirioni, tioni, tioni...
Tirioni, tioni, tioná...
L'lhugar de Dues Eigreijas
Ten una pidra bermelha
Ande se sintan los moçus
A peinare a la guedeilha.
Tirioni, tioni, tioni...
Tirioni, tioni, tioná...
L'lhugar de Dues Eigreijas
Ten una pidra redonda
Ande se sintan los moçus
Quando benam de la ronda.
Tirioni, tioni, tioni...
Tirioni, tioni, tioná...
This song's original language is not Asturian, but Mirandese: a minority language spoken in the region of Tras-os-Montes in Portugal. It belongs to the Western branch of the Iberian Romance languages, under the Astur-Leonese family - thus it is very closely related to Asturian, Leonese, Cantabrian and Extremaduran. The only reason why I have added it as "Asturian" is because there is no other option in the languages menu.
