A thousand moons passed by; she was always at the pier just waiting. Many evenings nested in her hair and in her lips. She wore the same dress just to be sure that when he would be back he wouldn't miss her. Crabs bit her rags, her sadness, and her illusion. Time slip through her fingers, and her eyes got full of dawns. She fell in love with the Sea, and her body got roots into the pier. She was alone in the pier, forgotten by all, alone with her sould, alone with her love, alone at the sea, alone at the San Blas pier. Her hair become white while no ship brought back her lover. She was named The crazy woman of San Blas pier. On an April evening, they tried to take her into a sanitarium, but nobody could unroot her and never ever get her away from the sea. Alone in oblivion she stood.

Author's comment: A very sad song. I do not actually like sad songs, but I know how you feel when you got the lyrics of a song you long for. That is why I do it. Hope it brings some joy to someone, somewhere.
