"The Fifth Heaven" by Emma Shapplin
(modern Italian and Latin are both inaccurate... please post a translation here http://lyricstranslate.com/en/request/fifth-heaven)

Quale per li seren
tranquilli e puri
discorre ad ora
ad or subito foco,
movendo li occhi
che stavan sicuri,
e pare stella che tramuti loco..
Come saranno
a'giusti preghi sorde
quelle sustanze
che, per darmi voglia
ch'io le pregassi,
a tacer fur concorde?
Bene è che sanza
termine si doglia
chi, per amor
di cosa che non duri,
eternamente
quello amor si spoglia
Quale per li seren
tranquilli e puri
discorre ad ora
ad or subito foco,
movendo li occhi
che stavan sicuri,
e pare stella che tramuti loco..
Quale per li seren
tranquilli e puri
discorre ad ora
ad or subito foco,
movendo li occhi
che stavan sicuri,
e pare stella che tramuti loco..
se non che da la parte
ond'e' s'accende
nulla sen perde,
ed esso dura poco..
se non che da la parte
ond'e' s'accende
nulla sen perde,
ed esso dura poco

Be sure to thank Lucagalbu. Because of him (?) I found out that this song, plus Canto XXX, and The Inferno were taken straight from the texts of Dante's Inferno. This translation is taken from an english version of Dante's Inferno Canto XV.

That link you have didn't work for me, so I'll post them here.

As through the pure and tranquil evening air
There shoots from time to time a sudden fire,
Moving the eyes that were steadfast before,
And seems to be a star that changes place,

How unto just entreaties shall be deaf
Those substances, which, to give me desire
Of praying them, with one accord grew silent?

It is well that without end he should lament,
Who for the love of thing that doth not last
Eternally despoils him of that love!

As through the pure and tranquil evening air
There shoots from time to time a sudden fire,
Moving the eyes that were steadfast before,
And seems to be a star that changes place,

As through the pure and tranquil evening air
There shoots from time to time a sudden fire,
Moving the eyes that were steadfast before,
And seems to be a star that changes place,

Except that in the part where it is kindled
Nothing is missed, and this endures little

Except that in the part where it is kindled
Nothing is missed, and this endures little
