hi, i know that in b-c-s the adjective "blond" is "plav" (blue), but how would you translate real blue hair? using "azuran"?

it's not a gratuitous question, i ask this because i'm translating a song where there is a girl whose hair is blue.

s.

а мне кстати, всегда было занятно, почему "plavo nebo" = голубое небо
а "plava kosa" = светлые/русые волосы/космы.

Maybe also "boje neba (боје неба)" or "boje mora (боје мора)". It sounds more poetical. :D

In Russian there's no such an interference
blue = синий/голубой
blond = русый/белокурый/светлый

blond man - блондин
blond woman - блондинка

i know, this interference seems to be only south-slavic, but i know it is not present in bulgarian.

Nope, it does not.

blue = син, сина, сино. (сина коса);
blond = рус, руса, русо. (руса коса, светла коса);

However, it's a common slang (which is wrong) for blond girls to be called "плавуши", instead of the correct form "русокоси". I guess that's some vocabulary heritage from Yugoslavia.

I think this is a problem only in BSC not South-slavic in general

I wouldn't call it a problem, just an interesting fact :D
