Wow!.. it's very hard to translate, because it's very hard to understand... it's written in an old poetic form of italian, a very solemn language, like that used in la Divina Commedia by Dante. I'm italian, I live in Italy, I grew up in Italy, but I have a lot of problems in understanding it!

I can't understand these two lines
Well.... this is what I guess the song means, but I cannot assure you that it's right.
Ah, I see. I think that makes sense because it is an opera song. Thank you very much for your translation. Even it is not completely accurate, it is 100% more than what I had at first and now I have a good idea of what the song is about.

Ok, one more time... Thank you so much Lucagalbu !! ~hugs~ I just looked up Dante's inferno and I believe the song is part of or based upon his story/poems. I will read i now and hopefully be able to figure out those two lines. Thank you so much for your help!
