Is there anyone who speaks both Gypsy/Romani and English or Croatian? I would like to get a translation of Esma Redžepova's song Chaje Shukarije.

Here's a translation of that song. (Go to page bottom.)

Here's a Romanian - French - Romani dictionary, maybe you'll find it useful:
http://www.rromanes.ro/?p=226
It's not complete and it's difficult to work with, but you can use the find function in your browser (Ctrl+F) and the menu on the right sidebar.

I trid to translate that with that dictionary, but couldn't find what I needed to understand the whole text.
I think that
"Me mera tuke (tuce)"means "I love you" and
"Me gândisa(ua) kai (kaj) tuke (tuce) (tu te)" means "I am thinking of you". "Gândisa(ua)" was borrowed from Romanian "a gândi" (to think, to believe).

Mangava, your(Drunk mangava
I (to/of) you kamerava
Otoke (to/of) you me this/that

Thank you anyway. I know that mangava tut mangava means I love you, but the rest was a mystery
