Hi. I'm Julie, and I just joined this forum. I'm interested in getting the lyrics of Arabic songs I hear (on cable TV and at parties). It's hard because the stuff I love is in colloaquial dialect, whcih I can understand somewhat (hazy childhood memories of my Lebanese grandmother visiting us from Michigan), but most official stuff is written in standard (MSA) Arabic, which I am only now just starting to learn (community college class).
So I guess I have to apologize as I'm going to be asking more questions than answering them to start with, but I promise to contribute if possible as my Arabic gets better. Meanwhile, a big thank you in advance to everyone out there on this wonderful loking list!
