"Lili Marlene": Did Hans Leip and Norbert Schultze ever meet?

I'm a German-to-English translator in Swtzerland and also coauthor of a manuscript focusing on creative working partnerships. I'd like to insert a vignette of the popularity of "Lili Marlene" among both Axis and Allied troops during World War II, but I need to know if Hans Leip and Norbert Schultze actually ever met. Can anybody offer help with details?
