Help me translate this phrase into Latin, I put it in English and Spanish.

Spanish: "Viajar te cambia, ascenderás hacia la luz y disfrutas sus maravillas pero no podrás regresar y ver como antes las sombras en la cueva que dejaste."

English: "Traveling changes you, you will ascend towards the light and enjoy its wonders but you will not be able to return and to see as before the shadows in the cave that you left".

Into Latin?
I can give it a try, but I'm not fluent in it so it might be not exactly idiomatic.
What do you need it for?

peregrinari te mutat, ascendes ad lucem et delectabis miracula eius sed non poteris revenire neque videre sicut antea umbrae in cavo quem reliquisti.

Is "shadows" meant as subject or object? If object, then umbras.
And are the shadows or the cave being left? If it's the shadows, then quas, not quem.
And has the addressed already left the cave at this point? If not, then reliqueras, I think, or possibly subjunctive.

...er .... in Rome they speak Italian now. Regular smile

Viaggiare ti cambia, ascenderai verso la luce e godrai le sue meraviglie ma non potrai ritornare e vedere, come prima, le ombre nella grotta che tu hai lasciato.

This is very good friend, really, thank you very much. I needed it for an exercise, since I was not quite sure how to do it ... I'm bad at Latin

I understand the studying part but translation into Latin will only give the sentence of a sense of tradition but will not make it widely understood.

Did you compose it or find it somewhere?

It is a quotation from one of the books I am reading, I needed to know its translation in order to continue the work that we have been entrusted with.

Still, thank you very much for your help.
