De nada...cuanto tiempo has estudiado español? Aprendi español hace 30 años y ahora estoy aprendiendo rumano (desde marzo 2009). Me gusta aprender lenguas extranjeras...mi hijo tambien, el estudia español y japones (el tiene 16 años).

No, estudio rumano porque me gusta la lengua! Hace un año oi una cancion de O-Zone y me di cuenta que rumano tiene muchas semejanzas con español, y me hizo curiosa. Quiero aprender bien por lo menos 5 lenguas durante mi vida
Tengo 2 hijas tambien, una de 12 años y una de 9 años. Hablo español y rumano en casa, y mis hijos han aprendido un poco de español y un poco de rumano....y hablo con hasta el perro en todas 3 lenguas

I thought I was the only crazy one, teaching my cat Espanol y hablando te ella en espanol, but you speak to your dog in other languages. Do you think he understands the other languages?
I repeat to mi gata in Ingles y entonces espanol, over y over tal vez. I believe she IS GETTING IT!!!!

Here's a funny thing about Spanish and Romanian...the word "gata" that you used to refer to a female cat means "ready" in Romanian, so whenever I ask someone if s/he is ready in Romanian I feel like I'm asking if s/he is a cat! LOL! "Eşti gata?"
I do think my dog understands basic things in Spanish and Romanian...like "Ven aqui"/"Vino aici" (come here), and "Sientate"/"Aşează-te" (sit down).
Mi familia esta bien. Mis hijos no tienen que ir a la escuela esta semana (vacaciones de primavera).

Nunca se dirira "me haces parecer mala" para significar "you make me look bad" - se diria "me haces tonta" o algo asi. Cosa de traducir literalmente no siempre sale bien.
Gracias. Se que a veces hay modismos o expresiones que suenan mejor que las traducciones literales. Hace 2-3 años mi hijo me pregunto como se dice "You make me look bad" en español y lo traduci literalmente
Ahora le puedo decir que hay un modo mejor de expresar la misma cosa
