[SOLVED] Incorrect submission date when publishing a draft

This isn't a major issue but I've noticed that the submission date is incorrect when you publish a draft. For example, I started the draft of this song on 3rd October and submitted it today, but underneath the lyrics, it says:
-Submitted by Hoffnung on Tue, 03/10/2017 - 16:03
-Last edited by Hoffnung on Thu, 05/10/2017 - 12:26
I also noticed that when I publish drafts, they don't appear on the site activity sidebar.

Hey. (My reply won't fix this, but at least I'll save someone the trouble of having to explain:)

The submission date is set when you first save a song as a draft. "Last edited" is the date of the initial publication, and thereafter the date you last edit it.

See this thread (scroll down): http://lyricstranslate.com/en/forum/report-problem-ask-question/bugs-aft...

I do agree that ideally, it would be good if the submission date would be the date when you actually publish it, but before this issue was brought up, songs that had been saved as drafts at a previous point in time, (say, 20/09/2017) appeared way down on your list of translations, with other songs published on that date (20/09/2017). That issue has been fixed.

Thanks for the reply/thread. I know that the submission date is the draft creation date, I just think it's a bit misleading  Regular smile

As far as I know, drafts are private to whoever added them - other people can't access them. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's why they don't show up in 'Site activity'.

Solution:
Never publish the draft.
Copy the translation and issue it as a new translation.
After that erase the draft.

Thanks, I'll do that in the future
