[SOLVED] What to do when an idiom is repeated?

Hi all. I'm new to the community so I thought this would be the place to ask my first question. It's related to the repetition of idioms. I have seen "Break the ice" repeated in two separated posts, with entries in both of them. The oldest post should have the rigth to be the only one there, am I correct? Can I report that? Can I do something about it, or is it only in admin hands to do so?

Thanks, and sorry for any inconvenience caused with this post. Have a lovely day.

Hello. The idiom is not repeated, It will be avialable under every song which contains that idiom within the lyrics. Have a look at this, you'll see each song that contains this idiom within the lyrics.
And if there's something you see wrong and you want to report, then you can report here

I understand what you mean, and I appreciate your response. However, I think we are talking about different things (or I am fairly stupid and didn't get you, sorry about it!). When you enter an idiom, then yes, you will see all the songs that have that idiom. However, I mean something else.

Go to "Idiom" and search for "break the ice". In the results table, you will see two entries, one with 3 equivalents and one explanation in english, and another one with 10 equivalents, and explanations in 8 languages. The idiom seems the same to me (one is written "to break the ice" while the other is "break the ice", but the way they are described is the same), so I want to know if that's allowed or if duplication is somehow something to be avoided here, as it spreads the information in different posted idiom sections.

Hope it is better explained now. Any help with this will help me being more efficient in the future. Thanks again for your time, taddy26

Hi there,

I submitted one of the copies and have merged the two entries now. The problem is that not always the particle 'to' is used with this expression - so in my personal opinion I think both should be marked, at least, as equivalents - so that all possibilities appear. I have done that now.
