For those who knows Arabic pretty well, you may notice that differences between dialects and modern standard Arabic (Fus7a) (MSA) may be huge that those who know only standard Arabic (Fus7a) can find it hard to understand these songs.

Here is an example:

I started this forum for 2 reasons:
1- to ask moderators to allow songs to be marked as Arabic (other varieties) in order to allow translation to Arabic (Modern standard Arabic MSA).
2- to encourage those, who find some songs in dialects hard to understand (whether they are Arabic native speakers or not) to name these songs here and ask for help from these dialects native-speakers.

Starting with myself, I'm offering any help in any translations needed from Egyptian dialect to MSA.
Any body else wants to offer help and want register him/herself ? or anybody wants to ask for help?

I subscribe to this thread so that I change the language of the songs you ask me to.

The option is already there. Choose "+More Languages" and then "Arabic (other varieties)". So you can choose this as the source, and Arabic as the target.

I've changed it, but you can change that yourself as well. Click on "edit song" on top and choose "-Arabic (other varieties)" (it starts with a dash)
