Grow up (English) — Usually used as an imperative if someone has lost their patience. Also used satirically if irritated by conduct. A person who is acting, or perceived as acting, speaking well below their maturity level as a grown adult. Behaving emotionally or in other ways well below the expected normal level of others. "Why don't you grow up!" Or just, "Grow-w-w up! "I wish she would grow up." These are common examples.
