Magic Formula
1 x 1 = 4
I’m seized by greed, the Book of Books is here!
Left here by Master, deep within it hides
Words, numbers, proverbs, formulas,
That let the control over magic to gain, to gain.
2 x 2 = 6
I am bewitched - I want to start with alchemy
From the stones there is now gold to gain
Thanks to the Book's power,
The miracle came true, came true
Every word gives me power, every word gives me strength
And I feel as the world turns
And each symbol conceals my magic - it works!
And I will become one with the magic formula
With the magic formula!
3 x 3 = 7
I immerse myself in the love magic
It was she who has rejected me, yet her heart I want to possess!
Magic words will make her quake,
and she will yield to me, yield to me!
4 x 4 = 8
The Book's might has seized my mind
Every sorcerer will become its slave
Before he can understand its rules
Am I really awake?
Or am I still too weak, too weak?
And I say the words quietly
And the world spins around in circle
And how great is the power
That sparks fireworks in your mind?
How great is such power?

I'm actually not sure as to the title's translation, "Magic Formula" is not all that the title holds, Hexeneinmaleins can mean as much as a witch's multiplication table and I think it may refer (but may not, who knows) to the Witch's Spell from Faust by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, that describes a way to complete the magic square:
See it here: http://www.claudiarichter.de/Historie/Hexeneinmaleins-Februar-2006.htm
http://www.zum.de/Faecher/D/BW/gym/faust/einseins.htm
„Du mußt versteh’n!
Aus Eins mach Zehn,
Und Zwei laß geh’n,
Und Drei mach gleich,
So bist Du reich.
Verlier die Vier!
Aus Fünf und Sechs,
So sagt die Hex’,
Mach Sieben und Acht,
So ist's vollbracht:
Und Neun ist Eins,
Und Zehn ist keins.
Das ist das Hexen-Einmaleins!“
Translation:
"This you must ken!
From one make ten,
And two let be,
Make even three,
Then rich you'll be.
Skip o'er the four!
From five and six,
The Witch's tricks,
Make seven and eight,
'Tis finished straight;
And nine is one,
And ten is none,
That is the witch's one-time-one!"
