Well my other thought was that the guy in question IS a decent ordinary guy, but nonetheless he's taken to wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying a gun due to all the paranoia that is the result of these acts. But then I don't really understand the Jesus parallels.

Yes, well the whole song sort of leads you towards "Jesus" but then of course "He's not at all who you think". It's meant to be a comment on the recent terror attacks so I feel it's either that these attacks are carried out by people who are quite ordinary to those around them, nothing like the typical scapegoat immigrant figure the media like to play up. OR it's more along the lines of the saviour moving amongst us unnoticed. The "about a dozen" being a reference to the apostles.

C’est une chanson ironique. On a peur aujourd’hui. On sent bien qu’il y a des malades mentaux qui se promènent autour de nous et nous veulent du mal. C’est un sentiment très désagréable. J’ai très mal vécu les attentats du 13 novembre. C’était justement une insulte à la fraternité. J’ai écrit cette chanson il y a un an.
