This translations seems to be some weird medley, where machine translation is mixed with a translation of good level. Too bad these two language levels can hardly coexist, which leads me to think the translator took a translation somewhere else and then added some of their own as well as machine-made work.
Some of the most evident machine-made passages are the following:
- Mais moi, j'avais tellement hâte que ça change - But me, I so hate that it changes (= But I longed so much for this to change)
- Je ne serai plus seule - I'll be more single (= I'll no longer be alone)
- Il va apparaître - It will appear (= He will appear)
- Cache tes pouvoirs - Cache your powers (= Hide your powers)
- N'en parle pas - Does not mention (= Don't mention/talk about them)
- Sans peine - Penalty-free (= Without sorrow)
- Tu règneras - You rules (= You will rule)
- Un seul faux pas - A single false not (= A single wrong move)
To these, I'd add some mistakes which do not seem to derive from a machine, but rather from a low fluency in one of the two languages (I'd say English):
- Et mettez les petits plats dans les grands - And put small dishes in large (= And put small dishes in large ones)
- Il n'y avait pas de bal le soir - There was no prom evening (= There were no proms/balls in the evening)
- Car changer de vie c'est tout un art - Because change of life is an art (= Because changing life is an art)
- La pression est si forte - The pressure is so strong (= The pressure is so high)
