Lvpercalia
Ipse deus velox
discurrere gaudet
in altis montibus,
et subitas concipit ipse fugas:
ipse deus nudus
nudos iubet ire ministros;
nec satis ad cursus
commoda vestis erit.
Lupercalia
God himself likes
to run about quickly
in the high mountains,
and suddenly he conceives himself fleeing about:
if God goes naked
his ministers must go naked too;
for running,
clothes are not sufficiently suited.
