The Most Beautiful Country In The World (Le plus beau pays du monde)

Le plus beau pays du monde

Le plus beau pays du monde,
C’est la terre où je naquis ;
Au printemps, la rose abonde
Aux abords de ses courtils,
D’elle émane dans la brise
Un arôme sans pareil,
Au clocher de ses églises
Le coq guette le soleil.

On y parle un doux langage,
Le plus beau qu’on ait formé ;
L’étranger devient plus sage,
Quand il se met à l’aimer.
Heureux qui reçut la chance
De l’ouïr dès son berceau,
Car la langue de la France
Est un chant toujours nouveau.

Parfums de fleurs, chants de cloches,
Bruits d’eaux vives, gais frissons
Des tiges qui se rapprochent,
Quand mûrissent les moissons,
Étoiles dans un ciel tendre,
Sourires d’aubes en éveil :
Ah, mon pays, j’aime entendre
Ta chanson dans le soleil !

The Most Beautiful Country In The World

The most beautiful country in the world
This the land where I was born
In sping, the rose abounds
in the outskirts of its small gardens
From it, an unequalled aroma
emanates in the breeze
At the bell tower of its churches
the cock lies waiting for the sun to come up

We speak a soft language,
the best one we have formed
The stranger becomes wiser
when he starts loving it
Happy who received the chance
of hearing it from its cradle
because the language of France
is always a new chant

Scents of flowers, chants of bells
Living water sounds, gay thrills
Stems who approach
when the harvest ripens
Stars in a tender sky
Smiles of blades dawns
Ah, my country, I love to hear
your song in the sun

Thank you Carlooz for the English translation.
Some suggestions:
In (spings) spring, the rose abounds
in the outskirts of its (courtils) courts
Smiles of awakening (blades) dawns

Best regards.

This is what I found out:

courtils :

Petit jardin attenant à une maison de paysan, généralement clos de haies ou de barrières. Près de la maison, dans les « courtils ou bordages », était l'endroit privilégié auquel on réservait les soins assidus, la bonne terre

Are you sure it’s translated as ¨courts¨?
I could not find the translation for it, but now that you mentioned it, what about this?

About the French word COURTIL (or COURTILLE).
You are right, it means: vegetable garden, kitchen garden.

But the English word COURTIL doesn't exist.
You have written it for the first time, and Google refers to you.
Google is too quick and swallows everything.
