The Moment

Write on a discarded envelope
What was left unsaid in the letter
And a step away from the valiant death
Be just the way God knew you

Look how the morning light is breaking
And how incredibly the snow glitters
Don't be in a hurry, let her (death) wait
Another moment ...

Recall that garden by your house,
Where, as a child, you cherished your dreams
Where your Dad read you bedtime stories
As you sat in front of the fire with him

Look how the morning light is breaking
And how incredibly the snow glitters
Don't be in a hurry, let her (death) wait
Another moment ...

Bring back your first love
Let your soul ache like it did back then
Smile for her one last time
It's better this way
At least it does not hurt as much

Look how the morning light is breaking
And how incredibly the snow glitters
Don't be in a hurry, let her (death) wait
Another moment ...

Write on a plain envelope
What was left unsaid in your life
And a step away from the valiant death
Be just the way God knew you.

Look how the morning light is breaking
And how incredibly the snow glitters
Don't be in a hurry, let her (death) wait
Another moment ...

Patience,
Let her wait another moment ...
Don't be in a hurry,
Spring is coming
In a moment ...
