Music and Me

The wind running over Genova,
blew into my accordion.
Gently, my music came out,
and, deep inside my heart, solitude.
How was I? How was I?

I was so different, being used to
telling everything to the clouds.
From a courtyard with no trees,
my concert got away.
From my house, it flew away.

Fairy tale days and then,
the light ended and I don't know how that happened.
God found me here.

A cold wind turned the pages
of this story without miracles.
I still remember my pointless days,
my mistakes, never forgiven.
But there was... music!

The most bitter days I ever had:
there was no friend still believing in me.
But now, I'm here,
and I believe in me, in what I've got,
and I have got one more thing:
love.
Alright, it's not so much
in this discouraged world.

In this discouraged world.
