Nathan Pacheco - Perdona (English translation)

Forgive

Don't look at me without saying a word
You've run out of questions
You've become tired of dreaming
All I gave you, I took away from you
Wrapping you in lies
I've opened you a wound

My promise broke apart
And now I'm a step away from the abyss
I ask for an opportunity
It wasn't my intention to hurt you
If you still have an embrace left
Don't tell me the end

Give me your heart back this time
Cradle me wiith your laughter until the sky cries
I'll pay you back for every tear
If you can forgive me
(Give me your heart back this time)

I propose we continue, continue walking towards tomorrow
And save you from the pain
Show you the truth that I denied

Give my destiny to you
Convince you about the love I have

Give me your heart back this time
Cradle me with your laughter until the sky cries
I'll pay you back for every tear
If you can forgive me
(Give me your heart back this time)

Give me your heart back this time
If you can forgive me. if you can forgive me

I live to only love you
Give me your forgiveness

Give me your heart back this time
Cradle me with your laughter until the sky cries
Forgive, forgive me
Forgive me, forgive me

Forgive
Forgive me

Forgive me

Author's comments:

This is my eighty-seventh attempt at translating/interpreting a song.
This is one of the first songs I heard from Nathan Pacheco, the minute I heard this one, I fell in love. It's so beautiful and meaningful! There are times when people make honest and innocent mistakes, and want to fix those mistakes; the other person might've hurt too much to even go back to the pain. Yes, the other might still have feelings of love and care for the person that hurt them, but they know in their mind that is safer to be alone than badly accompanied.
I do wish to become a Spanish/English translator much later in the future.
I wanted the English translation to match the flow of words in the Spanish version, a lot of parts don't really do. There are parts where contractions could be used, but I separated them to match the flow a bit better.
Any constructive feedback is welcomed!

His voice is just a little similar with Pablo Alboran voice ...:)

Right, similar to Alborán! Just beautiful! Both of their voices!
