Please translate Eine Welt eine Heimat

Bu nu san oon toog su nuy ker
Na nu ci Jiitel yermande

Eine Welt, eine Heimat
Stell dir vor, es geht einfach
Träume helfen uns weiter
Eine Welt, eine Heimat

Eine Welt eine Heimat
?
Eine Welt eine Heimat
?

Hands up for one love
This is more than just one world
Shoulder to shoulder
Hands up for one love

Hands up for one love
Eine Welt, eine Heimat
Eine Welt, eine Heimat
Eine Welt, eine Heimat
Hands up for one love
Eine Welt, eine Heimat

Here's the German part:
Title: One world, one homeland

There is a door, leading out of hell
Behind this door, there is a paved road
And this road takes you to paradise
There is a gate, but they won't let you in
Fear rules behind the gate, why are you knocking?
What brought you here?
Before that fear divides your hearts
Come and join hands!

One world, one homeland
Imagine, it's simple
Dreams help us go on
One world, one homeland

One world, one homeland
One world, one homeland

The rest is, well, 1 verse in French, I don't even know what the next part is(might be Somali or something similar) then a verse in what I assume is Arabic.

*Edited a few things after showing it to a friend...

Come and join hands?

Magimay    Sun, 10/09/2017 - 19:26

Well, the blank is mostly gone. The literally translation is "come and hold hands"(it seems I was thinking in a completely different language at that point, fml). But more like "stand together" than "I want to hold your hand'. I like your version, gonna edit it in. Maybe we'll eventually get the full translation Teeth smile

The third language might be wolof, spoken in Senegal (in xLingua, yermande translated to "Mitleid" - sympathy, compassion)

Eagles Hunter    Sun, 10/09/2017 - 18:28

Here there are German, Arabic (my native),English and as you said, French. Are you sure about these lines in Wolof?

Magimay    Sun, 10/09/2017 - 19:16

This:
Bakkan bu ne jamm lay wer
Ak fu mu ko mene ame
Bu nu san oon toog su nuy ker
Na nu ci Jiitel yermande

is the part in question.

KatheOrea    Mon, 11/09/2017 - 13:56

Hey, I am not sure, but I was very curious about the language, so I googled the longer words, and on a site named xLingua they translated to Wolof ("yermande" and "jamm"). Youssou N'Dour is from Senegal, and Wolof is one of the main languages spoken there. Maybe he actually sings this part? The voice sounds different at least...

The french part:

Remove these guards, you around me*
what happens to me is really stronger than you
stop talking to me about resolution
and rather help me find solutions

* I'm not sure about "vous autour de moi"

petit élève    Sun, 10/09/2017 - 19:36

En écoutant la chanson j'entends "enlève ces garde-fous autour de moi" ("remove these safeguards around me")

KatheOrea    Mon, 11/09/2017 - 13:49

Oui, ca correspond mieux :-)

I'm late as usual. Here is my translation (I tried) - with the help of my friend Jethro Paris and genius.com. Please check the Arabic part for yourself. By the way Jethro Paris did write me this:
I think it's more "Enlève ces gardes fous autour de moi" rather than "Enlève ces gardes vous autour de moi"

There is a door, it leads out of hell
Behind that door is a stony way
And this way will take you to paradise
There is a door, but they won’t let you in
Behind this door rules fear, why do you knock at that door?
What took you there?
Bevor fear will seperate your heats
Reach out and take each others hand!

One world, one home
Image, it would be easy
Dreams will guide us
One world, one home

One world, one home
One world, one home

Eine Welt, eine Heimat
Eine Welt, eine Heimat

Remove these crazy safeguards around me
What happens to me is really stronger than you
Quit talking to me about resolutions
Help me find solutions instead

One world, one home
Image, it would be easy
Dreams will help us
One world, one home

One world, one home
Sympathy???
One world, one home
Compasion????

My darling, my eyes, no matter how far you are
My darling, my eyes, you will always be close
To be with you will mean no sleep
You’re the apple of my eyes, the years ahead will be the best
Every time I see you I love you even more
Thank God!
This is my house and it’s all yours too, it’s decorated with all kind of flowers
Your beauty makes up for all the riches of this world

Hands up for one love
This is more than just one world
Shoulder to shoulder
Hands up for one love

Hands up for one love
One world, one home
A man in the land of God
Hands up for one love
One world, one home
Oh my night, oh my eye, oh the ngiht

Hello, here's what I hear for the Arabic part:

حبيبي يا عيني
مهما يطول البعد بيك
حبيبي يا عيني
ساكن فينا وساكنين فيك
قربك نعمة
تحييني طول الليل
شَايلِك في عيني
إنتي يا أحلى سنين جايين
أنا قلبي معاك
طول ما عيوني شايفاك
الحمد لله
بيتي ده بيتك
كل ورود العالم فيه
الدنيا بتسكن فيه

Here's how I would translate it:

Oh love, my darling
No matter how long your absence goes on
Oh love, my darling
You reside within me, and I within you.
It is a blessing when you are near.
It brings me to life all night long.
I carry you in my eyes
Oh, you, my sweetest coming years.
My heart is with you.
As long as my eyes see you,
thank God [for that].
My home is yours.
All the flowers of the world are in it.
The world resides in it.

And this is how I would translate the German part:

There is a door that leads out of hell
Behind this door there is a road made of stones
And this road takes you to the paradise
There is a gate; but they won't let you in through it
Behind the gate reigns fear, why are you knocking at it?
What brought you here?
Before fear separates your hearts
Come and join hands together!

One world, one homeland
Imagine, it would be simple
Dreams will help us forth
One world, one homeland

One world, one homeland
One world, one homeland
