We will love each other for a few days (On s'aimera quelques jours)

English translation

We will love each other for a few days

[Chorus]
We will love each other for a few days
You will see, my love,
That life will be good.
Let's just enjoy it
Without all the pitches,
The usual vows.
Sometimes it is so good,
To lose your mind.
You only live once.
Do not play the fool,
We will love each other for a few days.
Just a little time
Until we do not want anymore.
The mischief with love
Is always wanting
To complicate life...

As always in those cases
Of both of us, I loved her the most.
And the morning she left
I had tears in my eyes.
I tried to hold her
But she answered :
"Think about what you told me
When I spoke about future :

[Chorus]
We will love each other for a few days
You will see, my love,
That life will be good.
Let's just enjoy it
Without all the pitches,
The usual vows. "
I saw her leave
Without looking back
I almost called her
My goodness, how stupid !
We loved each other for a few days.
Just a little time
Until we did not want anymore.
The mischief with love
Is always wanting
To complicate life...

Thank you Smile Could you please check those French lyrics with the recording. Are they okay?

There are some mistakes in the original French lyrics.
The singer is singing to a woman but in the lyrics you wrote the song is addressed to a man.
In the second stanza :
line 3 it is "qu'elle* s'en alla"
line 5 "Je tentais de la* retenir"
line 6 " Mais ce fut elle* qui répondit"

Third stanza, line 7 "Je l'ai vue* s'en aller"

I have already corrected my English translation.
