Miserere Luminis - Senectus (English translation)

English translation

Just like tortured smiles, we are slashed
Aged trees, our branches wringed up to the sky
Of those immense oceans running through us,
Solely the depth bathes in the shadows under our eyes,
And the ashes of the knowledge that hang about
Leave dust on the slow dance of our feet
Starvation, starvation of light,
Of the darkness flowing down unto our shoulders,
Of the enamored frost which shivers and dies
And of the sadness beading on each one of our words
We are as tired as the stars...
