Autumn Song

How's it going, little sister?
Come here so I can hug you
So, did you find happiness again
On your trip across Canada?
Over here, nothing much happened this year...
It was kind of boring...

I hope that at least it was fun out there
I'm proud you didn't bring me back
A brother-in-law from Alberta
That would have left me somewhat shaken
Swear to me that this time you're staying home... for good

Anyway I'm glad you're back
Your arrival coincides with autumn
You know, it really hurt me
To have to see you go, my dear

Here there's dad recovering from his small operation
You should have seen him, he was faking,
We had to treat him like a king
And mom spent all year worrying
Because of you...

As for me I decided
To stop being lazy
I'm starting university
We'll see how that goes
But you know me, I'm not motivated more than I need to be
That's nothing new...

Anyway I'm glad you're back
Your arrival coincides with autumn
You know, it really hurt me
To have to see you go, my dear...

I saw Simon last month
He didn't seem to be doing too well
He told me that you haven't called him
Since his birthday in February
If you don't like him anymore, perhaps you shouldn't lead him on
He's a good friend

And what about you, little sister
Are you still as lost as before?
Is everything still dark?
Or have you gotten back on your feet?
You know that life is full of little troubles
There's no need to worry...

Anyway I'm glad you're back
Your arrival coincides with autumn
You know, it really hurt me
To have to see you go, my dear

Anyway I'm glad you're back
Your arrival coincides with autumn

This line is not right : "T'aurais dû l'voir, y freakait,"! It actually says "T'aurais dû l'voir, y fakait,", which translates to "You should have seen him, he was faking pain"

I didn't transcribe the lyrics, I just translated the ones given.

You are correct though, the lyrics given were wrong. I've edited the translation as such.
